Release week is HERE.
And, on top of the fact that the collaborative album The Marfa Tapes from Jon Randall, Miranda Lambert and Jack Ingram will be released on Friday, an accompanying documentary will premiere the following day on Saturday.
The documentary captured raw footage of the trio’s trip to Marfa, Texas where they wrote and recorded the album.
In honor of “Marfa Tapes Week”, as she put it, Miranda released a sneak peek performance from the film of her song “Tin Man” on her Facebook page and it’s awesome.

She said in the post they wanted the film to be as real and raw as possible, just like the record:
“We wanted y’all to feel like you were right there with us in the creative process.”
From the looks and sounds of this video, I can’t wait to watch the creation of the entire thing come to life.
The film was produced by Miranda is set to premiere in its entirety on her Facebook page on May 8th.
