Country Legend Loretta Lynn Gets COVID-19 Vaccine

Look, folks… we gotta protect our country music heroes.

Last week, Willie Nelson shared a picture of himself getting the vaccine shot near his home in Austin, Texas, and now, Loretta Lynn has become the latest country music legend to get the vaccine.

“Well, I bundled up and Peggy Jean and I rolled out of Hurricane Mills so I could get this vaccine. I’m sure glad to get it and am sure ready to put Covid in the rear view mirror! And I enjoyed the mom daughter time, too.”

With Loretta at 88 years old, and Willie Nelson at 87, it should go without saying why they should be first in line to get the vaccine. Last year, COVID of course claimed the lives of artists like Charley Pride (who was in his 80s as well), John Prine, Joe Diffie and more.

Willie? Check. Loretta? Check… any word on Dolly Parton? George Strait?
