Not a bad voice on QB 1.
The Iowa Hawkeyes posted a video on Twitter today of redshirt sophomore starting quarterback Spencer Petras strumming a guitar and singing Tyler Childers’ “Shake the Frost” (my personal favorite Childers song).
The clip posted today is a preview of a segment that will air on the Big Ten Network at 7:30 AM this coming Thursday.
Big Ten football finally kicks off this weekend (thank God), so I don’t know much about Petras who is in his first season as a starter, but he seems to have a pretty good voice, and pretty damn good taste in country music too.
And hey, if this whole football thing doesn’t work out, it’s not unheard of for college football players to break into country music after they hang up the cleats.
