The Hummer is BACK.

General Motors has officially resurrected the Hummer, unveiling their new 2022 GMC HummerEV pickup tonight.

Clocking in 1,000 HP, the all-electric beast of machine is said to go 0-60 in 3 seconds, have 350 miles of battery range, can charge an extra 100 miles in 10 minutes and feature a removable roof, four-wheel steering with CrabWalk mode, standard Super Cruise tech and a launch-control system. It will also offer GMC’s MultiPro tailgate, 35-inch tires, adaptive air-suspension,

To start, the $112,000 EV1 will be the only model available, but according to Road Show, additional (more affordable) models will come in the following years.

A lower-end three-motor model dubbed EV3X with a base price of $99,995 will be available in fall 2022. This version will also include torque vectoring and the WTF mode with 900 horsepower and a range of over 300 miles. Spring 2023 will offer a two-motor EV2X model that includes the adaptive air suspension and four-wheel steering for $89,995; this will have 625 horses and a range of over 300 miles as well.

And finally, the base model, two-motor Hummer EV2 won’t be out until spring of 2024. Starting at $79,995, this version does without the air suspension and four-wheel steering, but it will still come with features like the Infinity Roof, MultiPro tailgate, UltraVision camera system and Super Cruise. The base EV2 model also gets 625 hp, but sees the estimated range drop to 250 miles.

$112,000 is a pretty penny, but it just might be worth it.
