MAKE IT STOP.
It’s going to be a LONG miserable fall with no college football as we wrote about last night, and more news has come in.
Dan Patrick was just on the air saying “the Big Ten and Pac-12 will cancel their football seasons tomorrow (Tuesday 8/11).”
Here’s the full clip.

The Big Ten voted 12-2 to cancel the season, with Iowa and Nebraska voting that they wanted to play.
It’s a full-on battle now between the Big Ten and Pac-12 (assuming their decision is final) vs the SEC, ACC and Big 12.
Power 5 AD just texted me: “It’s looking more and more like it’s Big Ten and Pac-12 vs. SEC, ACC and Big 12."

Source: The Big 12 remains divided on playing this season. Uncertainty about long-term medical impact looms as an issue. Expect the Big Ten and Pac-12 decisions to impact the the Big 12's decision.

Spoke to a Group of Five AD: "When the Big Ten cancels, we're expecting to be on call within a day." Everyone is watching the Big Ten. There could be some patience to see who joins them. But that's the domino everyone is watching.
