Reporter Shames Wisconsinites For Not Wearing Masks, Gets Called Out Live For His Crew & Cameraman Not Wearing Them

These are the times.

I don’t care where you fall on the political spectrum, I think we can all agree some of the hypocrisy in the news and social media (on both sides) has been laughable through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Case in point, this viral video from Lake Geneva, Wisconsin.

Wisconsin is open, so people are heading there from surrounding states as places like Chicago remain closed. During an MSNBC report, Cal Perry was calling out folks passing by for not wearing masks, but that’s when things got awkward.

Cal forgot people can record their own videos, and call him out as well. His cameraman and his crew were all without masks. So yeah, that mask shaming, buddy…come on.

The hypocrisy during these times are at an all time high and it makes you want to rip your own face off. My brain can barely process what some of my friends post these days on social media, but that’s neither here nor there…

In the video below, you can hear a guy call him out towards the end:

“Including the cameraman — half your crew’s not wearing them.”

The reporter then awkwardly ends the segment. 2020.
