I was having a shit morning, until I watched this, now I’m sitting here in a much better mood.
Here’s the backstory:
“My father who is a Navy/Army veteran always wanted a tattoo. He was born in Italy and grew up in a strict household. He was a sergeant in the Army when he went off and fought on the front lines of Korea. When his buddies went to get tattoos my father wouldn’t because he knew he would be in big trouble when he returned home. Finally, after waiting all these years, he brought it up to my husband who told me and when I went back home to Connecticut I told him I would take him. He didn’t want my mother to know what he was getting, he wanted to surprise her. She has tears in her eyes, it was a very sweet moment.”
