Brad Paisley Releases “Alive Right Now” Featuring St. Jude Cancer Survivor Addie Pratt

Brad Paisley is gearing up to premiere his new special, Brad Paisley Thinks He’s Special, tomorrow (December 3rd), but today, he previewed it with the release of a brand new song called “Alive Right Now.”

The one-hour special will feature guest appearances from Carrie Underwood, Tim McGraw, Kelsea Ballerini, Darius Rucker, Peyton Manning, Chris Harrison, and more, but it was also feature cancer survivor Addie Pratt, who joins Brad for a performance of the new song. Addie was so good that Brad brought her into the studio and recorded her vocals for the studio version.

“When I got my own ABC special, one thing I wanted to do was shine a light on something good, and boy did I get a chance to do that. Everyone meet Addie Pratt, St. Jude cancer survivor. I am so thrilled to get to sing with her. It’s one of the highlights of not only the night but of my entire career. And she did so great on this performance that we had her come in the studio and record on the record. You hear this on the radio, and you might think it’s a top new female vocalist in country music, but it’s probably someone you’ve never heard of named Addie Pratt. St. Jude survivor.”

Powerful stuff.
