Unsettling news from Cody Jinks this evening.
According to a series of tweets from Cody himself, he was forced to cancel tonight’s show in Nacogdoches, Texas, after a “threat of violence” was issued against the show.
According to Sheriff Jason Bridges, the threat was received by the Expo Center around 10 am via telephone, “apparently through an online app,” and promised “doing violence during the concert.”
No further details were revealed regarding the motive of this threat, but obviously as Cody said, the safety of everybody at the show is the #1 priority. Local and federal law enforcement officials are working to apprehend the culprit.
We’ll provide more updates as they become available. Stay tuned.

Local officials along with federal officials are trying to track down the person who issued the threat, but haven’t just yet. So, in good conscience, my team and I have decided to postpone the show this evening in Nacogdoches. 2 of 3

The safety for our fans, friends, and staff is first and foremost. I personally had family make long drives and paid for hotels so I understand any aggravation and frustration. We will make it up to you and keep you updated when we are able to reschedule the show. 3 of 3
