Kane Brown Dedicates Tear-Soaked Speech To Late Drummer, Thomas Rhett Prays For Kane During His Speech

Say what you want about the current state of country music as a genre, but they sure know how to rally around someone that’s hurting.

If you need anymore proof, look no further than tonight’s CMT Artists of the Year Awards ceremony.

During Kane Brown’s acceptance speech, Kane, who was clearly emotional, dedicated the award to his late drummer Kenny Dixon, who passed away over the weekend due to a car accident. During Thomas Rhett’s acceptance speech, he spent the entirety of his speech lifting up Kane and his family, using most of his stage time to pray for Kane, Kenny, and all of their friends and family.

Respect.

Chris Young also dedicated his performance of “Drowning” to Kenny.

For the entire month of October, ALL profits from the newly released Pink Riff tees and hoodies along with the Hot Pink Riff tops will benefit the The Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
