This definitely won’t suck.

The MusicFest at Steamboat Springs will be celebrating its 35th year of bringing quality country music entertainment to the beautiful mountain town of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. January 5th through the 10th, 2020, droves of country music fans are going to gather for a week of great music, winter sports and the occasional cold beer (or 20), but this year, they have something special up their sleeve.

According to their newsletter, Dickson Productions will feature Cody Canada and the music of Cross Canadian Ragweed as their special tribute artist, this coming winter during Steamboat.

“This tribute concert will give Texas and beyond top artists the unique opportunity to express how Canada’s music has influenced them personally and professionally as they perform their own renditions of his music. This year’s inspiring tribute will be recorded live. This album will capture artist’s renditions of Cody Canada’s red dirt masterpieces as we all pay tribute to Cody Canada and the music of Cross Canadian Ragweed. Album set to be released later in 2020.”

Stay tuned for more details, including the full roster of artists scheduled to perform.

However, if there’s one artists we can hope to see honoring Cody, it’s Koe Wetzel and his fan-favorite “Ragweed” from his new album, Harold Saul High.
