Randy Rogers Band Kicks Off New Album With Nostalgic “Crazy People”

It’s so fucking good to have some new Randy Rogers music to talk about.

Batting lead-off for their first album in 3 years, “Crazy People” is a nostalgic ode to growing up in the Bible Belt outside of Dallas, Texas. It paints a picture of a young Randy who is cautioned by his conservative parents to avoid those “needing saving, late-night chasing, wrong side of the tracks, hell-raising, crazy people,” but then, he finds some old pictures of his parents from back in their wild days. The whole story comes full circle revealing that, in some ways, we’re all just a bunch of crazy people.

Randy Rogers Band’s upcoming Dave Cobb-produced album Hellbent will be released April 26th
