It sounds like they’re official.
Megan Moroney has had a heck of a 2026, after scoring her first ever #1 album on the Billboard Top 200 chart with her third studio album, Cloud 9, earlier this year. Of course, she first burst onto the scene four years ago with her song college football-themed song “Tennessee Orange,” and since then, she’s had hits like “6 Months Later.”
And with all of that success comes plenty of curiosity about her dating life, and Megan has been linked to Riley Green, NFL player Nick Bosa, and most recently, soccer star Christian Pulisic.
In July, she was spotted at Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row in Nashville with Pulisic, and if that name sounds familiar, it’s probably because he’s a star soccer player on the United States Men’s National Team (USMNT) during this year’s 2026 FIFA World Cup. He also plays for Serie A club AC Milan as a winger and attacking midfielder.
Despite a rather poor performance in their final game, and early exit to injury, Pulisic is the biggest star player on the USMNT team, and he helped lead them to the Round of 16. It was a pretty deflating 4-1 loss to Belgium that sent them home, and up until that moment, it really felt like the United States could take it to the next level.
Megan and Christian follow each other on Instagram, and Pulisic took his cousin to her concert in Miami as part of the Cloud 9 tour in Florida. And on their Instagram stories, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row shared a video where you see Moroney and Pulisic sitting together outside in the VIP section listening to music and having a grand old time.
Of course, that sent the rumor mill into overdrive, but for a while, that was the only time they were spotted together publicly as far as I know, and Megan vacationed in Italy before her European tour dates over the last month or two, which led to even more rumors…
She posted a video on her Instagram stories in September seemingly wearing the PUMA Christian Pulisic USA Fanwear Collection jersey… so fans suspect that it might actually be his, but who knows.

Rumors once again heated up a couple weeks ago following Megan’s performance at the 2026 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, as she was spotted at the after-party at Craig’s in West Hollywood carrying her phone with her screensaver being a photo of herself with Pulisic.
Photographers captured the photo of her, and I’m not sure if she realized you could see the screen while she was walking or not (I personally think she did, but I digress…), but the definitely looks cozier than just a “friend” photo, and let’s be honest… he wouldn’t be on her screensaver if they were just friends…
She recently confirmed she was single, but it doesn’t seem like that’s really the case:
And according to People, while attending the Time100 Gala last week in New York City, Megan caught up with actress Eiza González, who is dating professional tennis player Grigor Dimitrov, where they were heard chatting about their boyfriends.
Apparently, someone heard González say to Megan:
“We’re the new generation of WAGs.”
“WAG” stands for wives and girlfriends, and it’s usually used for the significant others of famous professional athletes, so it seems pretty obvious to me that they’re a couple considering all of the context, and maybe we’ll even see Moroney at an AC Milan game sometime soon… her tour just wrapped up and she already has the jersey.
