Welp… we now have confirmation from both sides that country music star Megan Moroney and NFL star Nick Bosa are not together.
It was back in October when Megan Moroney got dating rumors swirling after she went to a 49ers game in San Francisco. For a while, all of the country-music-related dating rumors took a backseat (she’s often been linked to Morgan Wallen and Riley Green), as a new, rumored boyfriend entered the picture.
49ers star defensive end Nick Bosa.
The series of photos that Moroney shared from that trip, which also included some concert snapshots (she had just played a show in Lake Tahoe, California, led many to believe that she was dating someone on the 49ers. Her photo within a suite of Levi’s Stadium sipping on some win, along with a “Moroney #9” jersey, got the rumor mill going.
Nick Bosa’s number is 97, so I’m not sure why people linked the two together, but that’s what happened.
Ever since then (and for a while before that post), Moroney has insisted that she’s single.
The country music star, who recently had a rough showing at the CMA Awards, has always gotten a lot of attention online when it comes to her romantic relationship, or lack thereof. She was even asked about it when she graced the cover of People’s Style Watch issue, and Moroney once again stated that she’s too busy to be in a relationship right now, which effectively shut down the Nick Bosa dating speculation:
“I’m not dating right now at all. I’m too busy.”
Or at least, it should have ended the speculation.
People online simply decided that Megan Moroney might not be 100% honest about her relationship updates, and that Bosa could very well still be on the table relationally for the country music star. But those people are now grasping at straws, because the San Francisco 49ers star just came out with an important update via TikTok.
Bosa, who is still recovering from a torn ACL that he suffered early on in the 2025 season, has hard launched his relationship with model Ella Ailiff. Using an account that Bosa specifically uses to update followers on his coffee journey, the defensive star shared a video of Ailiff sitting on his lap as they both enjoy espressos.
And if any further confirmation was needed, the “BosaBearBrew” TikTok account only follows one person: Ella Ailiff. She’s been featured in many other videos on Bosa’s coffee account, but this latest one (which you can check out below) is the first to show Ella’s face:

There you have it. The rumors can officially be laid to rest. Nick Bosa and Megan Moroney are NOT a couple, so for all of you out there that have been shipping them… good luck pairing up your next hypothetical, country music star-professional athlete relationship.
