Liberals Were Convinced President Donald Trump Was Resigning Because Of His Health – But He Was Just Announcing That Space Force Was Moving To Alabama

Looks pretty healthy to me.

If you’ve been online over the holiday weekend, chances are you’ve seen a lot of speculation about President Donald Trump’s health.

Why? Well long story short, wishful thinking from the unhinged left.

It all started on Friday, when President Trump hadn’t been seen since Tuesday (which is, admittedly, unlike Trump), and his weekend schedule showed no public events. Rumors immediately began swirling that something was wrong, that Trump was sick, or even that he had passed away. And it also comes after photos showing large bruises on the president’s hands during recent appearances:

But over the weekend, the speculation was put to rest when Trump was seen hitting the golf course – although the internet began going full Zapruder film and dissecting the photos to try to find proof that something is wrong with the president’s health.

Well yesterday evening, it was announced that Trump would be making a major announcement in the Oval Office this afternoon, which immediately set off further speculation that it had something to do with his health – or even that he may be resigning from office:

Ridiculous, right?

Well we finally found out what the big announcement was, and – spoiler alert – Trump isn’t resigning. In fact, he appeared perfectly healthy while announcing…that the Space Force headquarters would be moving from Colorado to Alabama.

That sound you hear is thousands of heads exploding.

The decision to move Space Force command HQ to Huntsville, Alabama comes after the Biden administration made the decision in 2023 to cancel the move to Alabama and keep the headquarters at their temporary location at Peterson Space Force Base in Colorado Springs.

During the press conference this afternoon, Trump was jokingly asked by Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy how it felt to find out online that he had died, but the president says he wasn’t aware of the speculation over the weekend:

“Really? I didn’t see that. Last week I did numerous news conferences, all successful, they went very well, like this is going very well, and then I didn’t do any for two days and they said, ‘There must be something wrong with him.’

Biden wouldn’t do them for months, you wouldn’t see him, and nobody ever said there was anything wrong with him, and we know he wasn’t in the greatest of shape.

No, I heard that, I get reports… I was very active over the weekend… I didn’t hear that one, that’s pretty serious stuff.”

He also couldn’t help but take a shot at the “fake news” media for playing into the ridiculous speculation:

“It’s fake news. It’s so fake. That’s why the media has so little credibility. I knew they were saying like, ‘Is he ok? How’s he feeling? What’s wrong?’ It’s also sort of a longer weekend, it’s Labor Day weekend. No, I was very active this Labor Day.”

Seems like rumors of his demise were greatly exaggerated.

President Trump To Honor George Strait

The King.

Recently, President Trump announced the 2025 Kennedy Center Honors class, which includes country music icon George Strait. He was the first one announced among the likes of KISS, Sylvester Stallone, Broadway actor Michael Crawford, and disco legend Gloria Gaynor.

President Trump did not attend the Kennedy Center Honors during his first term, but during the first six months of his second term, has become much more involved, appointing other country artist Lee Greenwood to the board. President Trump appointed himself as chair of the board, and has revamped most of it by bringing in an entirely new, (not woke) group to run the Kennedy Center.

Many of us probably mostly know of the Kennedy Center, officially titled The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, because of the annual Kennedy Center Honors event that inducts a new group of artists and entertainers each year.

Located in Washington, D.C., it’s a living memorial to President John F. Kennedy, and notable country acts who have been honored over the years include legends like Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, Merle Haggard, George Jones and many more.

During a televised announcement today, President Trump read off some of Strait’s accomplishments from his decades as one of country’s premiere artists, adding

“The first is country music star, actor and producer George Strait. Great. Over an extraordinary four decade career, George has sold over 120 million records worldwide, amassed 60 #1 hits, and produced 33 Platinum certified albums, more than any other living American. That is amazing.

He is believed by millions of people to be as good as you can get, and he is beloved by hundreds of millions of people all over the world. He’s really something, and they call him The King of country, and we know him very well. George Strait.”

You can watch the announcement here:

He also remarked on The King’s  “good looks” when they revealed the portrait of him, and I can confidently say that, yes, President Trump, he’s one of those rare breeds that somehow looks better with age:

The 2025 Kennedy Center Honors will take place in December and air on CBS.

Trump said during this announcement that he was asked to host the event, and he didn’t want to, but it sounds like that might be what’s happening:

“I didn’t want to do it, but they’re going to say I insisted—I did not insist. But I think it will be quite successful. I used to host ‘The Apprentice’ finales, and we did rather well with that.”

There will be plenty of performances and speeches on behalf of the honorees by other artists, so you’re sure to see several big country names on hand to celebrate the King later this year for this much-deserved accomplishment. Long live The King.
