Hot DAMN.
Cody Jinks and Turnpike Troubadours. just announced a run of co-headlining dates for 2024, which includes stops at Boston’s MGM Music Hall at Fenway, Tacoma’s Tacoma Dome, Eugene’s Matthew Knight Arena, Boise’s Extra Mile Arena and more.
The best part about this being a “co-headlining” mini tour is that they’ll share equal time on stage, so it’s basically a two-in-one concert that will blow the figurative (or literal, in some cases on this run) roof off the place.
What more could you want? I wish more of my favorite artists did things like this more often…
Anywho, they’re bringing along Trampled By Turtles as openers, and I think it’s already safe to say that these will be some of the most highly-anticipated shows happening next year, and will most likely sell out very, very quickly.
Two of the premiere independent acts in country music, it’s a perfect pairing in terms of shared fan bases, and I can only hope they add more to the schedule and cover a little more ground in terms of which parts of the country they’re headed to.
And I know I shouldn’t get too greedy, but I feel like we need some sort of collab or even on-stage performance with both acts now that they’ll be spending plenty of time together, but I digress…
Tickets will go on-sale next Friday, November 17th at 10:00AM local time, and I’d suggest being ready to buy as soon as it’s time:
