Well never mind, I won’t get political here.
But one of the most viral moments came near the end of the debate when Trump was asked about his age and whether he’s up for the job of serving as president for 4 more years. (Not sure Trump is the one we should be worried about being healthy enough to serve for 4 more years, but again, I said I wouldn’t get political here. Just calling it like I see it).
Trump, who’s obviously a big golf guy, pointed to his recent club championships as proof that he’s physically fit:
“I just won two club championships. Not even senior, two regular club championships. To do that you have to be quite smart and you have to be able to hit the ball a long way, and I do it. He doesn’t do it, he can’t hit a ball 50 yards. He challenged me to a golf match, he can’t hit a ball 50 yards.”
Well to a senior citizen, having somebody talk shit about your golf game is pretty much the equivalent of Biggie releasing “Who Shot Ya” after Tupac was shot back in the ’90s. Them’s fightin’ words.
Biden then took a jab at Trump, but in the process he may have stretched the truth juuuuust a little bit:
“I’d be happy to have a driving contest with him. I got my handicap when I was vice president down to a 6.”
And Trump wasn’t about to let him get by with exaggerating about his golf game:
“That’s the biggest lie, that he’s a 6 handicap…I’ve seen your swing, I know your swing.”

It was a pretty funny exchange, and Twitter had plenty of reaction – mostly disbelief that Biden was ever a 6 handicap. I mean, let’s go to the tape of the president’s swing:

Listen, I’m not a golfer, but I’ll just say I’m skeptical. Can we get Snopes on this one?
But anyway, I’m obviously not the only one who’s skeptical about Biden’s claims. Parker McCollum also called bullshit during an appearance on the Pat McAfee Show yesterday, and during his concert last night, Jason Aldean took some time to question the president’s supposed handicap:
“The biggest issue I had was Biden saying he was a 6 handicap. I’m calling bullshit.
Clearly that’s the least of his worries, but…”
Sorry Mr. President, I think we’re all going to need to see some evidence of that handicap.
