In a world filled with hustle and bustle, George Strait reminds folks to slow down and enjoy each moment. Today, the country music living legend released a new single off his forthcoming album, Cowboys And Dreamers, slated for a September 6th release.
Following the lighthearted tune “MIA Down In MIA,” Strait takes a more serious message in his newest single.
“‘The Little Things,’ the second track from George’s upcoming album, Cowboys And Dreamers, is out now!”
Strait released the single with an accompanying visual video that highlights some moments throughout his career and moments with his family, reminding us that sometimes you need to stop and smell the roses. In today’s world, where we are constantly plugged in, hustling, and going from one point to the next, sometimes cherishable moments are overlooked and forgotten.
Written by George himself, alongside Nashville hit songwriter Monty Criswell and his own son Bubba Strait, this songwriting trio packed a powerful message into digestible lyrics and a simple melody, driving home the message that it’s essential to take in “The Little Things.”
