That’s what it’s all about.

Morgan Wallen recently partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation to help give a 12-year old cancer patient her dream night during his concert at Ole Miss.

According to WDAM, Jayla Hibbler was diagnosed with Stage IV Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma, and has been undergoing treatment for 5 months at the New Orleans Children’s Hospital.

Last Monday and Wednesday for Jayla was spent undergoing chemotherapy and radiation. But on Thursday, she walked into Cavender’s Western Outfitter in Hattiesburg, thinking that she was just going on a shopping trip.

She was getting a lot more than some new boots though: Jayla was greeted by Make-A-Wish Mississippi, who let her know that her wish to meet her favorite artist, Morgan Wallen, and go to his concert, would be coming true. So of course she would need a new outfit for the show, and Cavender’s employees helped her with everything from a new hat to new boots.

And Saturday, it was on to Oxford, Mississippi for Jayla to meet her favorite country star during his rescheduled show at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium.

The Morgan Wallen Foundation shared photos from the evening, with Morgan taking some time before the show to sit around and talk to Jayla and her family.

For Jayla, who completed her treatments last week, she was just excited to finally be able to get back to normal after five months of hospital visits:

“We haven’t had a trip in a long time since all the things I’ve been going on. We’re going to make memories with family. It feels good. It feels like life is going back to normal.”

You love to see it.
