Chris Young feeling feisty these days.
Of course earlier this year, the country singer was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, assaulting an officer and resisting arrest after an incident with Tennessee Alcoholic Beverage Commission agents at a Nashville bar.
But the charges were quickly dropped after video of the incident surfaced that clearly showed that Young wasn’t the aggressor, and that he was actually pushed by the officers and suffered from some pretty nasty bruises on his back as a result of the altercation.
And while he may not have been willing to fight with the TABC, but at a recent show Chris was ready to square up with a fan.
Over the weekend, Young headlined Chilifest in Snook, Texas. But he was quick to stop the show when a fan reportedly threw a beer at him, and offered to take it outside (well, outside the venue, which is already outside…you get it).
“If you can’t fight me in the parking lot and I’m 6’4″ and 255, stop throwing shit. I’ll hop off the damn stage right now and piss everybody off in here.”
The crowd then quickly pointed out the culprit while changing “asshole,” and Chris continued taunting him as security hauled him away:
“It was him, but that little shit looked me right in the face and said it wasn’t.”
Chris also asked security to make sure to get the guy’s name so he didn’t try to come to any of the singer’s shows in the future:
“Hey get that asshole’s name because I don’t want him to ever come to one of my f*cking shows ever again.”
