You love to see it.

Tyler Childers scored his sixth Platinum record today, as his current single “In Your Love” was officially certified Platinum by the RIAA, meaning it has moved over one million units since it was released last July.

The song was included on Childers’ 2023 Rustin’ in the Rain album, and is currently climbing the charts at mainstream country radio, recently becoming his very first Top 40 hit. The Kentucky native has five other Platinum songs including “All Your’n,” “Whitehouse Road,” “Lady May,” “Feathered Indians” and “Purgatory.”

Considering it’s been less than a year since “In Your Love” was released, that’s a pretty quick run and very deserved:

The song was written by Tyler and Geno Seale, and hopefully, it will continue its steady run at mainstream radio.

Of course, Tyler is largely responsible for the wave of Appalachian artists finally being recognized and promoted on a level we’ve never really seen in mainstream country music right now, or at least, not in a very long time. He deserves all the credit in the world for that, which is why it’s all the more exciting to see him continuing to excel and represent true country music.

And clearly, the fans are loving every phase of his career, and this is the first of I’m sure more songs from Rustin’ in the Rain to go Platinum.

Turn it up…
