Keeping his island spirit alive.

Last year, the country music community lost the beloved Jimmy Buffett. Since his passing, the Parrotheads have continued pouring one out for the Mayor of Margaritaville, celebrating his easygoing way of life.

“Jimmy passed away peacefully on the night of September 1st, surrounded by his family, friends, music and dogs. He lived his life like a song till the very last breath and will be missed beyond measure by so many.”

In honor of his legacy, country music colleagues have joined forces for a night of celebration at The Hollywood Bowl, remembering Buffett’s music and legacy.

Keep the Party Going: A Tribute to Jimmy Buffett is slated for April 11th and features performances from some of Buffett’s long-time friends and artists who have taken time to keep his legacy alive during shows after his death.

Kenny Chesney, Eric Church,  Zac Brown, Bon Jovi, Paul McCartney, the Eagles, Sheryl Crow, and many more are set to take the stage on April 11th.

“Honored to be a part of such a special night of music to Keep the Party Going and pay tribute to my good friend Jimmy Buffett. Tickets on sale Friday!”

Kenny Chesney shared on Instagram along with the lineup announcement.

While Florida feels like a more fitting location for this event, given they just announced that August 30th will now be known as “Jimmy Buffett Day,” the important piece is that Jimmy Buffett will be celebrated to the fullest that night.

Tickets for the event go on sale this Friday (March 15th.)
