There is so much good music coming out these days that it’s nearly impossible to keep up with it all.

2023 was a spectacular year for country music, with fantastic albums from heavyweights like Charles Wesley Godwin, Turnpike Troubadours, and Muscadine Bloodline, among others, as well as the emergence of new superstars in the genre like The Red Clay Strays, there was no shortage of captivating stories and impressive new releases this past year.

For a while, it may have been easy to say that country music’s heyday is over, and the genre’s golden age passed decades ago. But if the last few years have been any indication, especially 2023, then I think it’s clear that something special is happening in country music right now, and personally, I’d be hard pressed to find an era more exciting than the present. And just two months into 2024, it’s clear there are no signs of letting up.

The shear volume of music being released now is difficult to digest, and sifting through it all to find the best new music is a lofty task for even the most astute country music fan. As a result, there is tons of new country music out there that has been overlooked by the ordinary or missed by the average fan.

So, to save you the time and draw some necessary attention to a some of the best, and often underrated music that has been released over the last couple of months, I’ve compiled a list of 30 new-ish country music songs that should be on everyone’s radar.
