The picks are in.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. shared his championship picks for the 2024 NASCAR season on his Dale Jr. Download podcast this week, and he’s ready to see his friend Ryan Blaney repeat as the Cup Series champion.

He also admitted that he knows that odds of that happening are very low, as we haven’t seen a Cup Series driver repeat as a champion in back-to-back years since NASCAR implemented the three-stage format in 2017:

“Now I know the odds of that happening are very — not good at all.”

He also predicted that Kyle Larson, Joey Logano, and Denny Hamlin would make it to the final round to compete for the championship. Logano was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs last year, though he is already a two-time champion (2018 and 2022), so it will be interesting to see how he fares this season.

The 2024 NASCAR season kicks off this Sunday, February 18th at 2:30PM, as they head to Daytona for the iconic Daytona 500 race.
