People are going to either love or hate this.
Brittany Mahomes, wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is a polarizing figure…to say the least. From throwing drinks on opposing fans to being called a “Karen” to Swifties digging up old hate Tweets about the superstar, Brittany does not have the most star-studded track record in the public’s eye.
However, that does not stop her from living her life, responding to the hate, turning into a positive with her “stay bothered” comment, and continuing to show up for her husband and her family.
And now, Mahomes can add swimsuit model to her resume.
As her husband gears up to take on the San Francisco 49ers in the Super Bowl, Brittany was announced as a Sports Illustrated “swimsuit rookie” as she posed in a series of tiny red bikinis in Belize for the publication.
“Brittany Mahomes will officially be gracing the pages of SI Swimsuit’s 60th anniversary issue as a 2024 ROOKIE! The entrepreneur and mom of two will be featured alongside our roster of women who empower, inspire and use their platforms to be both seen and heard.”
The post is accompanied by a glowing quote from SI’s Editor, MJ Day, highlighting why she was chosen to pose for the famed magazine:
“Brittany Mahomes is your newest 2024 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Rookie! Owner of the Kansas City Current NWSL team, former pro athlete, wife and mother, Brittany emerges as the epitome of a modern-day powerhouse.

Issues of the magazine will hit the shelves in May and will feature other social media stars like LSU gymnast Olivia Dunne.
While the majority of the comments on the post are overwhelmingly positive, hyping up the former soccer player, there are some funny comments regarding the timing of this announcement. Maybe it’s a tactic to distract the 49ers with a nearly naked woman on their social media feed.
