Women’s basketball is having a moment.
The WNBA wrapped up their season last week, a year that saw the league draw record-high numbers in both attendance and viewership.
And I have a feeling quite a few people are going to be tuning into Arizona State women’s basketball games this year too…although maybe not for the action on the court.
In case you’re not familiar with the program, the Sun Devils are coached by Molly Miller, who’s in her second year as head coach at Arizona State after getting her start at her alma mater, Drury University, before spending five years at Grand Canyon University.
Miller is a star in the women’s basketball coaching ranks, making the NCAA Division II tournament in her first five seasons at Drury and going undefeated in her final season at the school before the tournament was cancelled due to COVID back in 2020. She left Grand Canyon with a record of 180-17, which included an appearance in the WNIT and an NCAA tournament appearance, racking up a record of 117-38 before ultimately taking the job in Tempe ahead of the 2025 season.
In her first season at Arizona State, Miller was able to lead the team to a 24-11 record following four straight losing seasons, enough to earn a berth in the NCAA tournament before ultimately losing in the First Four.
But that’s not why she’s going viral right now, because as it turns out, she’s also…well, easy on the eyes.
It seems that many online weren’t familiar with Miller, but have started taking notice after a series of posts by ASU’s women’s basketball program. And it’s safe to say they like what they see from the 41-year-old head coach:

And she’s even turning heads in her press conferences:
Ok that last one seems a little extreme. (There are also a lot of “hardwood” jokes in the comments, but I’m not going to share those).
Unfortunately for her new fans, Miller is happily married to her husband Derek, a former college football player for Missouri State. The two tied the knot back in 2012 and have two children together, so while I’m sure she would appreciate all the support for her team, she’s off the market to any of her newfound admirers.
