Nick Saban Is Enjoying Retirement By Playing Golf With Rappers 50 Cent & Travis Scott

Playing an absurd amount of golf after retiring is basically a rite of passage.

It looks like Nick Saban has really gotten into the swing of retirement (golf pun intended) after he shockingly decided to walk away from his head coach position at the University of Alabama.

We don’t know a lot about Saban’s life outside of college football, besides the fact that he eats an insane amount of oatmeal creme pies and apparently enjoys heading out to the beach for extreme boogie boarding.

And I guess we can add golfing to that list of Nick Saban’s favorite things after some rather interesting photos from Reggie Jackson’s Mr. October Foundation Celebrity Golf Classic at the Floridian National Golf Club emerged online.

It was a star studded field for the charity golf event, and Nick Saban was amongst some of the big names that came to play and support the Mr. October Foundation. The event was a real who’s who, and in the zoomed in picture below, the former Alabama head coach can be seen standing next to a number of celebrities and former athletes (including 50 Cent):

And according to a post from Nick Saban’s daughter Kristen, Saban was paired up rappers Travis Scott and 50 Cent. She shared a photo of her father and Scott sharing a moment out on the golf course with the caption:

“Dad played golf with Travis Scott and 50 Cent like it was no big deal. Retirement is going TOO well.”

Like Kristen said, it seems very safe to say that Nick Saban is enjoying retirement. Knowing how competitive Saban was with football, I’d be willing to bet that the 7-time national champion winning coach had a couple of friendly side bets going on during the match.

And speaking of “The Match,” the televised exhibition match play production that TNT has put on in recent years needs to call in Saban, 50 Cent, and Travis Scott to play in the next rendition of the tournament.

They would just need a fourth player to fill out the foursome, and I’d love to see Charles Barkley tee it up again…
