Kameron Marlowe And Ella Langley Join Forces For New Duet “Strangers”

I can’t say I expected a duet between these two in 2024, but man I’m glad it happened.

In only a few short years, Kameron Marlowe has garnered a MASSIVE following. A former contestant on The Voice, Marlowe has made a name for himself as one of the best vocalists in all of mainstream country music, and it feels like he just gets more and more famous with every song he releases.

On the other side, you have Ella Langley, who has seen an insane rise to success in only a couple of short years, with songs like “Country Boy’s Dream Girl,” “Paint The Town Blue,” “That’s Why We Fight” featuring Koe Wetzel and more.

And now, the two are joining forces for a brand new single titled “Strangers,” which dropped today.

The song immediately grabs your attention with the wail of a steel guitar, as Marlowe and Langley immediately begin to sing about two old flames connecting at the bar, but realizing that they can’t leave together because although they can’t be strangers to each other, they can’t be lovers either after everything that happened in their past relationship.

The chorus speaks for itself:

“We can’t be friends, we can’t be lovers
We can’t be weekend drinkin’ leanin’ on each other
We can’t be fallin’ off the wagon, talking ’bout what happened
Where does that leave you and me?
There’s too much love, there’s too much anger
We can’t be friends and we can’t be strangers
We can’t be strangers”

Needless to say, this is two of the best young voices in all of Nashville coming together.
