Hits you right in the feels…

Cody Johnson kicked off his Leather tour this weekend, alongside Justin Moore and Dillon Carmichael, with stops at the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California and the Honda Center in Anaheim.

And during the concert on Saturday, CoJo spotted a sign in the crowd that made him stop the show and break down in tears.

Towards the end of the show, Cody spotted a young fan in the crowd holding the sign, his voice breaking as he read the sign out loud:

“I survived my bone marrow transplant to see CoJo. Your biggest fan”

Cody then took off his guitar and stepped down from the stage to give the fan a hug – and a guitar pick – before wiping tears from his eyes as he stepped back up to the microphone:

“Y’all might have to give me a minute.”

As he puts his guitar back on and takes a few seconds to compose himself, Cody took a moment to address the young lady before launching into his hit “Til You Can’t.”

“You don’t ever give up, you understand? Don’t you ever give up. Keep fighting strong.”

It’s safe to say that CoJo wasn’t the only one in tears over this heartfelt moment.
