Now, we’ve seen our fair share of sporting events interrupted by protestors or just drunk dudes who decide to run out onto the playing field. But it was a slightly different scene at the matchup between Texas State and Arkansas State…
The two Sun Belt Conference teams were facing off at Strahan Arena on Saturday night, and as the Red Wolves were lined up at the free throw line, a fan in a wheelchair came rolling out onto the court.
Why yes I've watched the Texas State fan in a wheelchair rolling onto the court during Arkansas State free throws multiple times… pic.twitter.com/s6SpDowC7b
The announcers pointed out that the fan was wearing a “very inappropriate shirt,” leading them to believe that it was a “staged event.” And according to reports from people at the game, the shirt in question reportedly read “I Love MILFs.”
Welp the Texas State-Arkansas State game just got interrupted by a guy in the wheelchair who rolled onto the court wearing a "I Love MILFS" shirt.
And everybody on the internet (and I’m sure those in the stands too) got a kick out of the bizarre situation.
Arkansas State men's basketball prevails at Texas State, 79-72, overcoming the distraction of a man in a wheelchair rolling to midcourt in an "I love MILFs" shirt.#brandnewsentencehttps://t.co/gQReSzayvo
