Video Of Scarred Up Great White Shark Goes Viral… & I’m Just Here For The Comments

Whether it’s through the sky or deep down in the ocean, it’s always been survival of the fittest. Stronger creatures prey on the weaker links, and many times these stronger creatures will go into battle to get what’s theirs.

It can truly get brutal out there, and here’s a perfect example of that. Video footage of a massive great white shark is going viral from off the coast in Australia.

Why, you may ask? Because it looks like this son of a gun has gone through Hell and back.

In the wild video footage, you can see a ton of scars and scrapes along the side of the great white, and you can’t help but ask yourself:

“What has this creature been through?”

These creatures can live up to 70-years-old, so there’s truly no telling how long this creature has been surviving with these kind of wounds.

Although it’s uncertain how the great white got these scars, it was more than likely battling some other creature for food, and took the wrong end of the beating, but there’s really no telling. It’s also possible that this is from mating, or that it had some kind of run-in (or more than one run-in) with a boat prop.

Sharks are resilient creatures, and their bodies have the ability to heal over time, but scars may still be visible. This is just further proof of the brutality of the ocean.

Group Of Sharks Attack Monster Bait Ball In South Carolina

If you’ve ever been to the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area, then you know the place is popular for its packed beaches, 50 million Waves and Wings stores, and all you can eat seafood buffets.

And one of those seafood buffets was caught on camera, but I’m not talking about calabash shrimp… I’m talking about a few sharks going to TOWN on a massive bait ball.

This wild scene went down in Pawley’s Island, South Carolina, which is just outside of Myrtle Beach. Now if you aren’t too familiar with the term bait ball, it’s a massive group of small fish that swim in a packed-together, spherical formation. As you can see in this video, thousands of small fish are swimming together just off the coast of Pawley’s Island.

However, things begin to go south when a few sharks decide that this is the perfect opportunity for a massive dinner.

You can see the sharks breaking right through the formation, and chomping at whatever fish they can get. Needless to say, this is what I’d like to call taking advantage of an opportunity.

Not gonna lie, as a South Carolinian myself who has been to both Pawley’s Island and Myrtle Beach several times, it’s pretty wild to know that I could be swimming out in the ocean, and something like this could be going on just several yards away.
