Zach Bryan Seen In Nebraska Helping With Disaster Relief Following Tornado

Zach Bryan truly is a man of the people.

Violent storms broke out all across the country over the weekend, and one of the hardest impacted areas was the eastern portion of Nebraska. The small town of Elkhorn was heavily affected by what the National Weather Service is assuming was an EF-3 tornado with winds up to 165 miles per hour.

Bryan is an Oklahoma native (from Oolagah) and is currently on his 2024 The Quittin’ Time Tour. He had stops in Des Moines, Iowa on April 25th and 26th, and is now set to play a “homecoming stop” with two straight nights in Omaha, Nebraska April 29th and 30th.

Apparently, Bryan and his band had already traveled to the Omaha, Nebraska area when the supercell moved in and devastated Omaha and much of the small community of Elkhorn. The country artist posted this photo of the extensive damage to his social media just yesterday with the caption:

“As an American and someone who lived in Omaha for some pretty formidable years of my life, I want to offer some honest prayers and hopes to the communities affected by the tornadoes that tore through them.

The band and I are standing with you guys as we are playing some shows in Omaha. I am so sorry to anyone that is having to deal with picking up the pieces of their homes and their lives.

Without taking credit from the thousands of people lending a hand who have roots here, we love you so much and we’ll do all we can to help.”

And Zach Bryan wasn’t just pledging his support. Based on photos that have circulated through social media, the “Oklahoma Smokeshow” singer was involved in the boots-on-the-ground disaster relief efforts.

After destructive storms rips through towns, disaster relief programs often move in to help, and depend a lot on volunteers from the area.

Bryan appeared to be one of those volunteers in Elkhorn, Oklahoma:

That’s what you call being a class act right there. As Bryan is in the midst of a world tour, he wasn’t too big of a deal to get his hands dirty to help those in need. Just another reason to like the guy.
