Incase you didn’t know, there’s currently a big House committee hearing going on on Capitol Hill going on…
Yeah, I didn’t know that either until I just happened to see something on X about it.
I’m honestly the last person to dive into politics, because it feels like both far sides of the political spectrum are pretty corrupt nowadays, and I normally only tune in to make fun of some of these clowns we have making decisions for our country.
The hearing is the first move by House Republicans to impeach President Joe Biden, with the House holding Hunter Biden in contempt of Congress.
As serious as something like is, we did have one hilarious slip up that can’t go unnoticed.
While House Judiciary Committee member Pramila Jayapal, Democrat Representative out of Washington State, was calling out former president Donald Trump for allegedly inciting an insurrection, she accidentally said something that rhymes with “insurrection” …
She said:
“If we’re gonna talk about … maybe we should talk about the fact former President Trump incited an erection.”
A WHAT?
Even Jayapal realized she couldn’t save herself from this slip up, and tried to laugh it off by saying:
“Maybe that too!”
As the whole room erupted in laughter.
Whether I agree with her politics or not, it’s nice to see that some of these people have at least a little bit of a sense of humor.
