Closing out 2023 the best way Martha Stewart knows how…with a thirst trap?
Martha Stewart is a lot of things: a famed cook, TV personality, businesswoman, and writer, and at 81 years old, she is letting everyone know that she still has it.
Earlier this year, the internet dropped its jaw when she was announced as the cover of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, making her the oldest woman to model for the magazine. Standing among the ranks of Megan Fox, Ashley Graham, Kate Upton, and more, Stewart was sure to get a confidence boost from the shoot.

She is carrying the feeling forward, closing out 2023. So much so that she is reminding the internet that age is just a number as she shares a less than “wholesome aunt” style mirror selfie.
Yep, Martha Stewart is posting what Gen Z and Millenials call a thirst trap…who would have thought a Boomer (what’s older than Boomer? Post War?) could do it better than the young kids? In a neutral lacy nightgown and matching rope, Stewart puts on her best pout, giving a “rolled out of bed” look.
Even in the caption, she notes the rolled-out-of-the-bed look:
“I didn’t look so bad when I got up, at least not as bad as I did when I went to bed- it must be the $$$$$outfit!!”
She is taking it back to 1982, channeling her inner Dolly Parton in The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas. And I can’t blame a girl… we all want to channel our inner Dolly.
Needless to say, in moments like this, the internet is going feral for the photo. There have been a lot of things popping up in the 13th hour that are giving the best moments for 2023 a run for their money, and this one earns a spot on the ranks.
