‘James Bond’ Actor Pierce Brosnan Busted For Entering Thermal Areas In Yellowstone National Park

It looks like Pierce Brosnan has found himself in some trouble at Yellowstone National Park.

According to court documents obtained by CNN, the James Bond actor was cited back in early November for entering protected areas of the park. He’s been accused of “foot travel in all thermal areas and (within) Yellowstone Canyon,” and “violating closures and use limits.”

The 70-year-old is set to appear at the Yellowstone Justice Center (they have their own justice center?) on January 23rd. Brosnan’s representatives have yet to comment on the incident, and it’s unclear the details behind these charges.

I have to say, I’ve covered several stories of moron tourists (or “tourons,” if you will) entering restricted sections of Yellowstone National Park, but this is the first time I’ve ever seen one involving a celebrity. Judging by the vague details of the charges, it seems like Brosnan made his way to some hot springs in the park, which is not smart at all.

The hot springs at Yellowstone National Park can get up to nearly 200 degrees Fahrenheit, which is enough to about fry you alive.

I guess Brosnan didn’t hear the story about the human foot that was discovered in one of Yellowstone’s abyss pools awhile back.
