Smells like “The Rock” was cooking up a Christmas classic with his most recent video on social media.
Christmas has somehow already come and gone in 2023, but that doesn’t mean we can’t extend the celebration a little bit longer. In fact, in my own personal opinion, the Christmas celebration can reasonably be stretched out all the way to the New Year.
Once New Year’s Day rolls around, you need to start packing up the tree and decorations (talking straight to those people who leave their outside lights up until March). Let’s not get carried away with the holiday season. I love it just as much as the next person, but there’s a time and place for it, and a time and place to pack it away.
Another person who appears to love Christmas just as much as anyone else is Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who for some reason decided to dress up as…a younger version of himself to celebrate the big day. You don’t have to be a WWE fan, or maybe even a “Rock” fan, to have seen this infamous picture:

“The Rock” was rather proud of his turtleneck and chain (and fanny pack) look though, which is probably played a role in his decision to recreate the iconic look for what one could only assume was some sort of fun themed Christmas party.
The actor, who seemingly has to be in four action movies a year or else he’ll explode, was really feeling himself in his “90’s Rock” costume. He posted a video of his recreation as he walked down a hallway singing a modified version of “The Christmas Song,” which went a little something like this:
“Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, 90’s Rock nipping at your nose.
I’m walking down the hall looking cool as f**k,
just take one look at my amazing clothes.
Everybody knows a turkey and some camel…I mean mistletoe,
helps to make the season bright.”
Yeah, I’m going to need a Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Christmas album for next year. I didn’t know I needed it, but now that I’ve seen what it could look and sound like (and possibly be riddled with profanity and vulgar references), it has to happen.
