Come on, you know this man was PUMPED for this one…
Imagine finally getting tickets to see your favorite artist, your celebrity crush, your dream woman, for the very first time.
You go all out. You get some new threads for the big day, head out to the show…and it turns out to be an impersonator.
Well apparently that’s what happened to one Texas man when he thought he was finally going to get to see Reba for the first time after his mother-in-law told him she had tickets for the family to all go see Reba McEntire in concert at the Palace Arts Center in Grapevine, Texas.
But when they got to the venue, they noticed something wasn’t right: The marquee on the venue said “Reba Tribute.”
Oh no…
Well sure enough the redheaded woman on stage was undoubtedly NOT Reba. And to make matters worse, his wife posted a video to TikTok of the poor guy looking on disappointedly as this Great Value Reba sang “Fancy” on stage.

As the wife says in her video explaining the comedic situation, her mom had actually invited some of her friends to the show too – all expecting the real Reba.
But she’s not sure if everybody in the crowd realized that they weren’t seeing the real thing:
“I’m trying to analyze if all these folks really think it’s Reba. Because they are clapping, they are screaming, they are taking photos, videos. And I’m like, ‘Are they aware this is not Reba?'”
Overall though, they did give the Reba impersonator credit for putting on a great show – although she admits her husband’s soul was “crushed” that he didn’t get to see the real Reba.
Hey, maybe Reba will hear his story and make it up to him…
