It’s no secret that Cody Jinks is one of the most authentic personalities in all of modern day country music. The guy has always done things his own way, with two middle fingers in the air to big time labels in Nashville, and the corporate country music machine… and that’s why we all love him.

His personality is perfectly displayed in his music, with deep storytelling that you can literally picture in your head as if you’re watching a scene from a movie. Whenever I think of my favorite Cody Jinks albums, the first one that always immediately comes to mind is his 2015 Adobe Sessions project.

The album features some of his biggest hits to this date, with songs like “Mamma Song,” “Cast No Stones,” “Loud and Heavy,” and more. Don’t get me wrong, there isn’t a bad Cody Jinks album out there, but there’s something about Adobe Sessions that hits a bit deeper than the others for me.

And of course, maybe I’m a little bit bias because the album features my all-time favorite Jinks song, “David,” but that’s just my own personal opinion. But speaking of Adobe Sessions, Jinks just posted a full video of him and his band playing the whole album live.

A few years back, during the height of the pandemic, Cody streamed an incredible acoustic set of the album in its entirety, and then released it as an album in 2021. And now, you can relive the magic, right here… for FREE.

There’s just something different about hearing these songs stripped down, and watching the full band go to work.
