It was a wild weekend here in Middle Tennessee.
Tornadoes left 6 dead, numerous injured and hundreds without a home after ripping through Nashville and the surrounding areas this weekend.
One of those tornadoes hit in Clarksville, just to the north of Nashville and right on the border of Tennessee and Kentucky. And terrifying dashcam footage is showing just what it was like to be trapped in your car when the storm hit.
The video shows the view from the car driven by 25-year old Cameron McNeil. The telephone poles bend on the side of the road as he drives through the flying debris, with the storm pushing cars off the road and totaling McNeil’s car when it lands directly on top of him.
McNeil says his car was totaled, but luckily he was ok after driving through the EF5 tornado, with winds reaching an estimated 150 miles per hour.
Absolutely terrifying.
