Somewhere, Morgan Evans is punching air right now…

Last year, country singers Kelsea Ballerini and Morgan Evans announced they were getting a divorce after five years of marriage. Her and Evans spent some time taking shots at each other, releasing song after song about their divorce. Evans first addressed the divorce with “Over For You,” which led Ballerini to create her song, and then go on a media tour or sorts which included a candid conversation on the popular Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper. And then Evans hit back with a track he debuted in Australia telling Ballerini to keep his name out of her mouth. It’s been messy and public…

However, it didn’t take long for Ballerini to fall in love again, as she confirmed back in February that she was dating Outer Banks star Chase Stokes.

The two have been hot and heavy ever since, taking to social media to show off their relationship.

And once again, Ballerini isn’t shying away when it comes to discussing the intimate details of her relationship.

The 30-year-old said on another recent episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast:

“I didn’t understand how (sex) could be a real connector in a relationship. I always thought it was just something that you did … Now, I realize it’s a connector for people.”

Without going into too much detail, she said that sex in the past had often felt “performative.” But with Stokes, it’s different:

“My experience with it was very performative and for the other person. It don’t be like that anymore… He’s the most emotionally intelligent man I’ve ever met in my life. I keep telling him he’s a man written by a woman.”

Congrats on the sex…

She also adds that they started talking over DM, and the first time they met, he kissed her before saying anything at all:

“I walked out to his car, and he got out of his Bronco … hot! And he did not say a word to me and he grabbed my face and kissed me and he said, ‘Thank God you’re real.’ It was so redeeming for my experience of men in relationships and how sweet it is.”

Pretty good move, eh?
