Tanner Usrey’s long-awaited debut album is HERE.

Crossing Lines is not only Usrey’s debut album but also his first full-body project since his signing to Atlantic Records. The fifteen-track record from the Prosper, Texas native continues to shout from the rooftops what we have been saying: Tanner Usrey is a star on the brink of shooting across the sky.

The gritty southern rock and roll sound combined with his Texas red dirt roots and earnest songwriting is a combo that absolutely rips with each track on the album. With Lynyrd Skynyrd-inspired singles like “Destiny,” which was released leading up to this release to new tracks like “Guns Drugs & Allergy Pills” that take you on a wild police-sounding chase of the wild rock ‘n’ roll lifestyle, to stab you in the side break up tracks like “Black Widow” every track hits. You also see the softer, romantic side of Usrey on tracks like “Who I Am” and “Make You Weep.”

Not to forget one of the shining stars on the album’s tracklist, the lead single, “Crossing Lines.”

The album highlights the dynamic sides of Usrey’s sound, taking you from the headbanging twangers to the acoustic ballads that leave you choked up from the lyrics.

Along with the new tracks, Tanner Usrey is also reimagining the songs that brought him to this point, with a killer addition of Ella Langley to his fan-favorite song “Beautiful Lies.” Usrey teased the collaboration on social media this week leading up to the release and also shared an accompanying music video:

“This song is kind of the one that “started it all” for me. It was the first song that got real traction and has always had a special place for me.

I think this new version really shows how I’ve evolved as an artist, and how we’ve evolved as a band, not to mention I got to work with Ella Langley, who is absolutely amazing at what she does. I think this version is going to draw new people in, but still have the old feel to it, and I can’t wait for y’all to hear it.”

As Langley is also one of the hottest up-and-coming names in country music right now, she was the perfect pick for this track. Her Alabama grit interlaces with Usrey’s vocals for a perfect duet.

Speaking on the collab, Ella said:

You say yes when an impactful song like “Beautiful Lies” gets thrown your way as an idea of a collaboration. Tanner and I had crossed paths a handful of times and over the past year have grown a friendship through a respect of music and synergy between our teams. I am excited for our fans to experience this song again, and I can’t wait to play it live with Tanner.”

Usrey has blown up over the last few months, and thanks to the help of the hit TV show Yellowstone, his sound has been broadcast to a broad audience.

With the whirlwind of fame, Usrey has remained true to the roots of his sound and straight-shooting songwriting style, which has led him to grow a fan base that backs him fully.

I hope you hear what you want to hear, enjoy it, resonate with it, and know it’s real. It’s been a wild ride. I’ve busted my ass.

I started off doing all of this on my own, so it’s crazy to see how this and the team around me have grown. People are going after real music right now, and that’s great. I’m looking forward to seeing where it goes next.

Real music is exactly what you’ll get on Crossing Lines.
