Think Michigan wanted to win that one?

The Michigan Wolverines were without their head coach Jim Harbaugh today after he was suspended by the Big Ten amidst the fallout from the sign-stealing scandal.

Harbaugh traveled with the team to Happy Valley to take on Penn State in a big rivalry game between ranked teams, but while the team was en route it was announced that he would not be allowed on the sidelines of the team’s remaining regular season games.

The school has filed a lawsuit against the Big Ten requesting an injunction and a temporary restraining order that would allow Harbaugh to coach, but the court case won’t be heard until later this week – so Harbaugh had to sit out the game today at Penn State.

But that didn’t slow down the Wolverines.

The #3 team in country, Michigan rolled over Penn State with its running game and took down #10 Penn State 24-15 to remain undefeated in a statement win for the program embroiled in controversy.

Offensive coordinator Sherrone Moore filled in for Harbaugh on the sideline, and after the game you could tell just how much the win meant to him during a tough time for the program.

Moore had high praise for Harbaugh in an emotional postgame interview:

“I want to thank the Lord. I want to thank Coach Harbaugh. F*cking love you man. Love the sh*t out of you man. Did this for you.

For this university, the president, our AD. We got the best players, the best university, best alumni in the country.

Love you guys. These f*cking guys right here. These guys right here, man. These guys did it.”
