Just boys being boys.

This is why you don’t tell anyone where you’re hunting. Well, usually that’s so they don’t show up in the area hunting, not so they don’t show up right to your stand…

Hunting is just the best. It’s a great way to make amazing memories with family and friends.

Having a group of friends that are all into hunting leads to some great times, whether its camp nights, or building stands or even just going to scout, it’s all great. Getting out there is how you learn, see cool things and just enjoy nature.

But when you’re doing stuff with the boys it always leads to some jokes or even pranks.

Deer hunting is a serious thing that takes a ton of hours. I think that makes a properly executed prank all the better.

This guy learned his lesson the hard way on giving up his hunting spot.

He shared the location digitally, so not only did his friends know the area he was hunting, but exactly where his tree stand was.

The video shows his friends rolling right into sight in their truck as the man sits in his stand.

There’s a hunt ruined, a lesson learned and a good laugh.

Deer Hunter Thinks He Dropped A Deer In Hilarious Prank

This one hurts…

But it is just so funny at the same time.

Hunting brings out some pretty wild emotions. From excitement, anticipation, to disappointment or loss. It’s a wild ride that takes a lot of time, energy, discipline and emotions to get through.

But when you get the big one, or any good harvest for that matter, it makes it all worth it.

Deer hunting takes countless hours of time in preparation and hunting. You have to find where the deer are and then figure out how you can get within range. On top of that, you need spend a ton of time perfecting your shot so you can make a clean and ethical kill on your target.

It’s a great way to make memories with friends and family, and fill your freezer with tasty and nutritious meat, a much better alternative to factory farmed beef.

Nothing beats deer camp with the fellas. A group of your best friends headed out chasing the best animals with a truck full of guns, food and beer…. sounds like a good time to anybody.

Hunting pranks are a sensitive thing, though. You don’t want to mess with the wrong persons hunt, that may send them over the edge. To some, it is more than just hunting.

These guys clearly didn’t care about crossing any lines when messing with their buddies hunt though.

He is seen set up in a prime location for deer, overlooking a massive field.

In the distance there is a massive buck on the field’s edge.

The hunter sets up and starts firing at the deer. He fires, it doesn’t even move. His buddy encourages getting the big one down…

“He’s looking around trying to figure out where it’s coming from.

Pop him.”

Bang. He lets him have it again.

The deer falls down, in very weird fashion…

The hunter is pumped knowing that he dropped this beauty buck.

“The buck I just shot, came in right along the tree line he was chasing that doe. We saw that doe cut back in, next thing you know we saw this big rack looking at us.”

He has no clue they are messing with him…

He walks up and the disappointment is almost sad. You can see the range of emotions across his face… everything from mad, to sad, to laughing all in a matter of seconds.

With a grin on his face, he walks back to the group ready to give someone a whoopin.’

Priceless.

Elk Hunter Makes Smelly Mistake Field Dressing Bull

An old video that never gets old.

And also, a friendly reminder this hunting season… don’t nick the gut bag.

We’re taking it back to 2015 for this life lesson on field dressing. It’s a pretty classic video if you’ve been around outdoors interwebs for a while, but with fall hunting season underway in most states, what better time than now to share it again.

“This hunter wasn’t being careful while he field dressed this bull elk. Always guide the blade with your fingers so as to push the gut bag away, and to verify that your knife point isn’t close to the bag.”

However, according to Wide Open Spaces, there was a reason why this veteran hunter made the mistake. He had stitches on on his other hand, the same hand he uses to guide the blade of his knife.

And after hauling that bad boy up a hill for about an hour, all the gasses built up right near the bottom of the stomach. One nick was all it took.

“About 3 days before I killed this bull I cut my left hand bad and had stitches so that is why I have gloves on. The cut was right between my left index and middle finger and so I couldn’t use them to gut like normal.

I didn’t even know if I could shoot my bow until I drew it back, thank god for adrenaline.”

As one YouTuber commented, “I can smell this video…”
