Yeah, the Big Dog Daddy is all the way back.
Toby Keith has spent the past 18 months focusing on his health following a stomach cancer diagnosis, but the country music legend is finally feeling well enough to get back out on stage, and fans have been more than excited to support him.
Keith had started testing the “live performance waters” with small shows here and there, and after successfully pulling those off, he felt as though he was ready to bring his expansive country catalogue back to the big stage.
That’s why the “Should’ve Been A Cowboy” singer decided to announce a two-night headlining run at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas on December 10th and 11th. And after record-breaking demand to see Toby’s return to the stage, he’s now adding a third night.
Tickets for Toby’s two shows went on sale last Friday, and sold out within two minutes, making it one of the fastest ever sell outs in the history of the Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas. Looks like the Big Dog Daddy is a Big Dog Deal in Sin City…
So much so that Keith decided to add on a third show so that fans who didn’t get to grab tickets for the December 10th and 11th shows could still have a chance to come and see him. Toby took to his social media accounts to make the announcement, and also posted a video on YouTube saying:
“Hello Buckaroos. It’s Toby Keith. Had a big old day Friday. We completely sold out the two shows we announced in Vegas. Coming up in December in response to these shows has got me all fired up.
Well, Warriors. That being said, we’re going to do one last show in Vegas, December 14th. I’m fired up for these three shows and clearly you are too. Can’t wait to see you there. Let’s go.”
Great to see that Keith is getting back out there, and it’s even better to see that his loyal fanbase is supporting him just as they were before he had to break for the betterment of his health.
If you are wanting to see him while he’s out in Las Vegas, you’ll have to act fast. Keith and his team announced that there will not be an additional show after this his “third and final” concert on December 14th, so make sure you are ready to grab your tickets when they go on sale on November 3rd at 1:00 p.m. EST.
