Man, I have been digging everything Kolton Moore & the Clever Few have been putting out these days.

They are leaning into their Texas southern rock sound, and it’s working for them flawlessly. After releasing heaters like “If I Had A Dollar” and “Your Alpine,” they are letting fans know they are BACK and better than ever.

Today, they bring another killer track to the table with the release of “Give It Up.”

“I wrote this song years back while out on the road with the guys. We were in a small town in eastern Colorado, early winter, the bars all closed at dark and all 5 of us slept in the same hotel room.

Every time I hear this one, I think about those times. Hope you guys enjoy!”

The rock ‘n’ roll-inspired track highlights the red dirt twang Moore posesses, and the melodies will have you bobbing your head instantly.

The lyrics about late nights, drinking with friends, and rolling with the punches have a happy-go-lucky feel, but with a little bit of a punch.

“When you’re out on the road and you need a little pick me up
You know everybody in this town, they done run out of luck
They’ll tell you how good you are, but they really don’t care
Long as the next time you’re in town, you spend your money there.”

I have shamelessly listened to this track the whole time writing this article…it’s damn good.

The real question for Kolton Moore & the Clever Few is when an album announcement is coming. Give the people what they want.

Turn this one all the way up.
