Cole Hauser Admits That He Was Worried About Losing Fans Due To Long Wait For ‘Yellowstone’

I have to admit, this wait for the second half of Yellowstone season five has been brutal.

It all started when rumors began to swirl that Kevin Costner was exiting the show due to conflicts in film scheduling.

Ultimately, the rumors ended up being true, as Costner is no longer apart of the Yellowstone saga, and the show is officially coming to an end after the second half of season five, after it was initially believed the show would go on for at least seven seasons.

It’s a tough realization, but I’m pretty excited to see how Taylor Sheridan will conclude this whole thing.

However, as far as a release date goes, there isn’t one in sight anytime soon, due in part to the writer’s strike.

It leaves you to wonder whether this whole delay will have any impact on fans, and their excitement for the finale of the show.

And apparently one Yellowstone star has been wondering the same thing, and it’s none other than Cole Hauser, who plays the relentless ranch hand Rip Wheeler on the show.

He said in a recent interview with Esquire:

“I was worried that we might lose our audience before season five, but it was quite the opposite. The fanbase truly loves not just my character, but everyone.

It’s pretty special to know that people care that much. That’s certainly what you do it for. Now, going on this press tour, it really means a lot that they love this coffee, too. It’s an honor.”

So, I guess all we can do now is wait, and hope that Yellowstone will get the conclusion it deserves.
