Wade Bowen is back with another great single.

He released a song today called “Cowboy Kid,” which was produced by Wade and co-written with Casey Beathard.

The subject matter finds Wade reminiscing on his childhood and all of the hopes and dreams he had as “that cap gun cowboy kid.”

The Texas native says he’s always been a dreamer, adding that he wants his own kids to be the same way and have big plans for themselves as they get old enough to start chasing their dreams, which was also some of the inspiration behind the song:

“As a kid I was a big dreamer and this song is about carrying those dreams into adulthood. I feel like most people start to lose sight or give up on them as they get older.

I see the same thing happening in my own kids now as they get ready to move into adulthood, and I want them to know it’s ok to have crazy dreams… and I want them to have courage to chase them.

They just might come true.”

Touché…

The production sounds great, and Wade’s vocals are on point per the usual.
