The Official Trailer For ‘Lawmen: Bass Reeves’ Is Finally Here

Man oh man, it’s starting to get real.

Ever since it was first announced, I’ve been highly anticipating Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming TV series, Lawmen: Bass Reeves.

The show tells the story of the famed African American lawman Bass Reeves, who worked during the post-reconstruction era as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory. He’s notorious for locking up over 3,000 dangerous criminals without ever getting wounded.

It’s also widely believed that the story of “The Lone Ranger” was inspired by Reeves.

On top of that, the show has a loaded cast as well, with David Oyelowo as Bass Reeves, the first Black Deputy Us Marshal west of the Mississippi, along with Garrett Hedlund, Shea Whigham, Dennis Quaid, Mo Brings Plenty, Donald Sutherland, Lauren E. Banks, and more.

The show is slated to drop November 5th on Paramount+, and they’ve already dropped a teaser for the show last month.

And here we are a month later, and the official trailer is finally here. Needless to say, this trailer just further escalates the hype. The whole clip is filled with wild scenes of Reeves taking down some of the worst criminals this side of the Mississippi.

Not to mention, Reeves says one of the most bada** lines I’ve ever heard at the end of it:

“I’m warning ya, your wicked days are done.”
