How is it possible that I can sit here and watch this horse video and say “yeah I’ve been there before too?”
Social media is falling in love with this seated stallion for looking like he’s done with “horsing around” and is seriously contemplating his life and all the world’s mysteries. It’s impossible to watch this and not think that something Earth-shattering just happened in this horse’s life, or that the horse is about to make a life changing decision itself.
For one, the video is beautifully shot, catching the horse in its seated position from a side profile that reveals the animal’s long face (in both senses of the phrase). The dream-like, melodic guitar music overlayed on top of the footage is the perfect pairing and conveys the horse’s mood exquisitely (if horses can have moods).
I’ve never seen a horse sit like this before, and I’m sure you haven’t either. If you are a fan of Nate Bargatze’s comedy, you at least know that horses sometimes lay down, but I’ve never seen or heard of a horse sitting “properly” like this one does.
That’s why so many people have been taken back by this particular horse, because what happened to cause this stallion to decide to give upright seating a try? Does it want to be a human? Is it doing yoga? Could it have somehow achieved another plane of existence by being the first animal in history to learn the practice of meditation?
These are all the types of questions that people are presenting to try and figure this whole situation out. However, I think we should all learn a valuable lesson from this horse and sit back, breathe in, breathe out, and know that all of the “noise” and questions and distractions don’t really matter at all.

I’ve got to say, this horse has tremendous posture. For an animal that isn’t supposed to sit upright, it looks like it has it really figured out. X users flooded the reply section underneath the video with similar observations:
