Talk about a honky tonk heater…

Just in time for Friday, Texas country powerhouse Josh Abbott Band is back with a new tune called “Barstool Boys.”

A co-write by Josh with Erik Dylan and Josh Kiser, he says

The day I wrote this with Erik Dylan and Josh Kiser, I knew we had a heater on our hands. We first recorded this with a different intro, but I told the band I loved the energy of the live harmonica solo, and I wanted to start the song off with that same energy.

We’ve been sneaking ‘Barstool Boys’ into our set for a couple months now, from Texas to California, from Minnesota to the U.K.! And every single time people are jamming out and asking about the song afterwards on social media.

We’re fired up to get a banger out just in time for football season, and like the song says: ‘Bet your ass I’m gonna bet the over!'”

There ya have it…

All about getting off work on Friday afternoon and heading to the bar to have fun with your friends (and maybe drink a little too much), it’s an upbeat jam that should definitely be on your weekend playlist:

“‘Barstool Boys’ is OUT NOW! Crank it up this weekend, get drunk at a bar, and bet the over!”

Turn it up…
